About the project

“After Winter” is a Ukrainian four-episode melodrama from 2020, directed by Pavlo Tupik. The main cast includes well-known actors: Kateryna Varchenko, Prokhor Dubravin, Dmytro Pcholkin, Nataliia Vasko, and others. It is an emotional story about the consequences of accidents, shattered illusions, difficult family conflicts, and the strength of spirit that helps one start life from a clean slate.

The heroine, Olha, is a successful anesthesiologist whose life seemed stable and happy: she has a job she loves and a beloved husband, Maksym, a successful businessman. But her world collapses in an instant because of a tragic car accident. Olha loses her child and suffers severe injuries, but the real shock is still ahead: she learns that the accident was no accident, and that the other car was driven by her husband's mistress. Left alone with pain, betrayal, and the indifference of her former beloved, Olha finds the courage to break this circle and begin the fight for justice and her own future.
