About the project

“Lynx” is a Ukrainian four-episode melodrama from 2020, directed by Roman Tkachenko. The main cast includes Anastasiia Ivanova, Vlad Nykytiuk, Prokhor Dubravin, Anastasiia Tsymbalaru, and others. It is an emotional story about first love at school, life's trials, betrayal, and professional growth.

At the center of the story are three teenagers: the vivid Anka, Sashko, and Maryna, nicknamed “Lynx” (because of her red hair), who met at a summer camp at age 14. Maryna fell in love with Sashko, but he began dating Anka. Ten years later their paths cross again: Maryna is now a medical school student, she runs into Sashko by chance, and in the end they marry. But their family happiness is destroyed when Anka bursts into their lives again. After going through a difficult breakup, Maryna devotes herself to medicine, becomes an outstanding cardiac surgeon, and finds new love, but fate has many more unexpected encounters in store for the characters.
