At the heart of the story is 30-year-old Dasha, a talented artist who has lost her inspiration and stopped believing in love after a painful breakup. Her life changes because of one chance event: a lost mobile phone leads her to a man named Oleh, who charms her with his sincerity and creativity. But it later turns out that there is a major obstacle: Oleh is married. The situation intensifies when Dasha meets his wife, Anastasiia, and learns about her serious illness, after which she makes an unexpected and noble decision to try to help her.

About the project
“Non-Random Encounters” is a Ukrainian four-episode melodramatic miniseries produced by the film company FILM.UA Group for the television channel “Ukraina” (2019). It is an emotional drama from life about complicated love triangles, forgiveness, self-sacrifice, and moral choice in critical situations.
