The main heroine, Maryna, is a kind and principled girl who looks after the problems of an orphanage and tries to save a city park from illegal development. She dreams of adopting a little boy, Roma, but is refused by the guardianship authorities because of bureaucracy and the absence of an official marriage. Under unfavorable circumstances, she meets Yehor, a real estate developer with entirely different life priorities. But shared ordeals, clashes of interest, and unexpected turns in life gradually change how they feel about each other, growing into sincere feelings.
