The main character is Maksym Nikonenko, a moderately cynical, somewhat brazen, but exceptionally sharp and talented detective. His life seems perfect: a job he loves, a beloved partner, financial success, and many people envy him as a true favorite of fortune. But in an instant everything collapses: Maksym is brutally framed and accused of a murder he did not commit. Ending up in a prison colony, he has to survive in an entirely new, hostile environment. After his release, the main character sets himself a single goal: to prove his innocence, find the real criminal, and get his lost life back.
