About the project

“Life and Driving Lessons” is a Ukrainian four-episode melodrama produced by Filmstream and Vileton Films for the television channel “Ukraina” (the production cycle was completed in 2020, and the premiere took place in 2021). It was directed by Dmytro Matov, and the screenplay was written by Nataliia Shymboretska. The leads are played by Anastasiia Ivanova, Oleksandr Konstantynov, Vitalii Salii, Vadym Andreev, and others.

The main heroine, Anna Liubych, is a formerly successful professional race car driver who decides to leave big-time sport and opens her own driving school exclusively for women. Anna is a strong woman who is used to solving problems on her own and taking care of others: her elderly father and her rebellious younger brother, who constantly gets her into trouble. While helping her students overcome their fears behind the wheel and resolve their personal life crises, Anna suddenly realizes that her own life and relationships are in complete disarray, and she does not know how to manage them.
