About the project

"My Girls" (original title "Divchatka moi") is a four-episode Ukrainian melodramatic TV film from 2018, directed by Mykola Mykhailov. It is a true-to-life family drama about women's solidarity, relationships in a multi-generational "kingdom of women" and the search for one's own happiness despite life's hardships. The leading roles were played by well-known Ukrainian actors: Olena Stefanska, Anna Koshmal, Anastasiia Tsymbalaru and others.

At the center of the story is Tetiana Yanina, an energetic woman who raises her daughters Uliana and Mariana on her own and also looks after her granddaughter Yana. Her home is a true "kingdom of women" where men somehow never stay for long. Tetiana carries the entire household on her shoulders and tries to be a reliable support for her family. But each of the women in this family longs for her own personal happiness, which often leads to funny, touching and dramatic situations, forcing the heroines to rethink their relationships and views on life.
