The main heroine is a woman whose familiar, comfortable life collapses in an instant because of betrayal, bankruptcy, or tragic circumstances. Left without support or money and forced to provide for her loved ones on her own, she takes on an unexpected and difficult job, becoming a driver of a large truck or a taxi (“on the road”). There she encounters dangers and criminal risks, as well as new people who help her regain faith in herself and find true love.
