The main heroine is Nina, a modest, smart and hardworking girl who has long been secretly in love with her boss, Hlib. She carries out all his assignments carefully and conscientiously, but because of her shyness she cannot bring herself to confess her feelings and show another side of herself. The characters' lives change when unexpected events begin to unfold in the office and in their personal circumstances, making them look at each other in a new way.

"The Best Husband" is a Ukrainian 8-episode melodramatic TV series directed by Serhii Tolkushkin, which premiered at the end of January 2019. It is a light, true-to-life story about office romance and intrigue, unrequited feelings, a reassessment of values and the path to true love.
