In the special and holiday episodes, the characters face familiar everyday mishaps, now seasoned with a festive mood, attempts to get a connection during power outages, comical family quarrels on air, and unexpected surprises from relatives in different corners of the world. It is a light, deeply heartfelt, and funny story about how Ukrainians keep their optimism, unity, and traditions, and their ability to laugh sincerely together, even when hundreds or thousands of kilometers of phone screens separate them.

About the project
“The Ring” is an enormously popular comedy sketch show on ICTV2 that won viewers over from its first episodes with its true-to-life feel and sharp irony. The format is built around video calls between Ukrainians who have been scattered across different cities of the country and abroad by the full-scale war. The special episodes and the second season bring together beloved characters who keep in touch, support one another, joke in the most unlikely situations, and celebrate the holidays together despite all the challenges. The leading roles are played by popular Ukrainian actors: Taras Tsymbaliuk, Alina Kovalenko, Rymma Ziubina, Viktor Zhdanov, Oleksandr Suvorov, Anastasiia Ostreinova, and others.
