The title “3.0” symbolizes the shift to new “versions” of waging war: from the first days of chaos and a linear front line to a mobile, networked, and technological confrontation. The project tells about Ukrainian engineers, military innovators, IT specialists, and drone operators who create their own defense technologies, write software for artillery, turn civilian developments into deterrence weapons, and change the doctrine of modern wars around the world.

About the project
“War 3.0” is a documentary and analytical project (or a series of special reports) that explores a qualitatively new stage of the full-scale war in Ukraine. The authors focus on the transformation of combat into a high-tech confrontation, where centuries-old classical strategy gives way to unmanned systems, artificial intelligence, satellite intelligence, electronic warfare (EW), and digital infrastructure.
