The main heroines are two friends whose fates have been closely intertwined since youth. But adult life prepares serious trials for them: unexpected betrayals, financial crises, and difficult ethical choices put their relationship at risk. When it seems that the world is falling apart and no trust is left, the heroines have to join forces to withstand life's storms, untangle a web of old deceptions, and prove that genuine feelings and loyalty are worth fighting for “whatever happens.”
